Do I need a hunting license for a Texas Waterfowl Hunt?
A Migratory Game Bird Endorsement is required to hunt any migratory game bird (waterfowl, coot, rail, gallinule, snipe, dove, sandhill crane, and woodcock) in Texas. A valid Federal Duck Stamp and HIP Certification are also required of waterfowl hunters 16 years of age or older.
When is Texas duck hunting season?
Texas duck hunting season goes from November 4th to November 26th and then from December 2nd to January 28th.

Scott was a great guide. I have hunted 2 separate trips with him and his team. Early mornings made for early limits. We had no issue getting the birds we wanted and walked away with 4 for the wall. I will say we had one novice with us that couldn't hit the broadside of a barn; with Scott's help he almost got his limit. (if your a new hunter just let him know so he can tutor you).
