Circle H offers thousands of acres for dove hunting near Houston, specifically Galveston, Rockport, Brackettville and Lubbock Texas. Day and package hunts available.

We hunt and manage prime ranches that traditionally hold big numbers of birds ensuring you a quality wing-shooting experience. 

We are hunting in the south and central zones. Also available prime tract and seasonal waterfowl and dove leases in the Houston area.

Do I need a hunting license for a Texas Dove Hunt?

A Migratory Game Bird Endorsement is required to hunt any migratory game bird (waterfowl, coot, rail, gallinule, snipe, dove, sandhill crane, and woodcock) in Texas. A valid Federal Duck Stamp and HIP Certification are also required of waterfowl hunters 16 years of age or older.

When is Texas dove hunting season?

Texas dove hunting season goes from September 1st to November 12th, and picks back up from December 15th through the 31st.

Scott was a great guide. I have hunted 2 separate trips with him and his team. Early mornings made for early limits. We had no issue getting the birds we wanted and walked away with 4 for the wall. I will say we had one novice with us that couldn't hit the broadside of a barn; with Scott's help he almost got his limit. (if your a new hunter just let him know so he can tutor you).
